The UK leads upcoming oil & gas projects starts in Europe by 2026
GlobalData's most recent report, "Europe Oil and Gas Projects Outlook to 2026 - Development Stage, Capacity, Capex and Contractor Details of All New Build and Expansion Projects" demonstrates that Europe is relied upon to observe 433 projects to initiate activities during the period 2022-2026. Of these, halfway projects would be the most elevated with 196 projects.
In halfway, trunk/transmission pipelines portion alone establishes 47% of all halfway projects followed by UGS and oil storage with 28% and 12% individually. Processing plant and petrochemical projects establish around 21% of all impending oil and gas projects in Europe from 2022 to 2026.
