Australia’s Dairy Bell to cease ice cream production
Australian ice cream market creator Dairy Ringer has declared it is to overlay, citing furious rivalry in the area.
In a proclamation on its site, Dairy Ringer said following 44 years of ice cream creation in Australia, it would be closing its two plants on 27 February. Its five stores will likewise be shut.
"Supermarket ice cream wars have cost the retailer benefit and the producer loss of margin and have diminished our ability to recuperate costs for about 4 years now with our capital being disintegrated step by step," said the firm.
